Would I be able to do DME?

right I had a brainwave last night

we are going next year - 1 week poly, then 2 week offsite.

there will be me, husband, our 4 kids and mymum and dad to help.

we thought it would help if my family (me, DH, and 4 kids) got the DME from airport to the poly. We are only getting an 8 seater mini van thing, but as it suggests, this would only sit the 8 of us never mind the possibly 6 cases and 2/3 buggies

obviously we wouldn't be able to get the DME from the offsite timeshare to the airport on way home, so I figured we could maybe stay last 2 nights onsite.

if we did this would we then be able to do DME both ways? despite having a stay offsite inbetween?

also - are you still able to use virgin check in at DTD then just get on the DME without our bags?

I cant see why not Mandy. Ive booked a one way DME for August.

I guess your first week in the Poly would be a one way booking and your last two nights would have a one way booking.

I think your DME plan for both ways would work fine as two one way bookings :yes:

And you can use DTD check in and the DME together too - we did this last time and plan to do it again this year too :thumbs: We checked in the luggage in the morning and had a few hours before the DME was there to take us to the airport.

our flight back is not til 7 pm or something similar.

I think it's about 3-4 hours before your scheduled departure time for international flights

hiya

my mum and dad always use downtown disney check in. it's located near la nouba (if I remember right) and open til 1pm. any virgin customers can use it I think as we have always stayed off site

my mum is sure some disney resorts have virgin check in? not sure about that though

Excellent thanks. We have our flights with Virgin but booked the hotel seperate, looks like it will cost us $10 per person - money well spent I guess as we get to enjoy a bit more Disney on our last day without worrying about the cases?
