Hollywood Studios to Epcot is a really nice walk along the waters edge and then through the boardwalk or round passed the Swan and Dolphin. We stayed at rhe Dolphin last year and walk to and from both Epcot and DHS a number of times:thumbs:

I believe that you can also walk from POFQ to DTD. I'm not absolutely certain however.

I know SorcererMickey rates the walk in or around the Fort Wilderness area. I’ve also walked from DTD to the Crossroads area, down hotel boulevard (you do have to cross a busy road to get there however). You can also walk from the Poly to the GF, past the wedding pavilion – very pleasant on an evening :)

You can also walk from DTD to Saratoga Springs. Hubby and I have actually walked from OKW to SSR.

brilliant. bit of ignorance over tink and her abbreviations!! ep and ws ? also how do you get to crossroads. i can picture the lights etc. beyond the bus queue in west side when youre looking with west side behind you. i remember a few years back, the bus picking up some brits walking into the typhoon lagoon entrance and the driver struggling not to tell them off. where they had come from was a mystery, but ther certainly werent any pavements. id hate to be like them. if i could walk from pofq to dtd it would be great.

It's just nice to walk around the whole of Port Orleans resort. When we've stayed at POR we've walked to the French Quarter and then back to POR and around the lake in the evening. We've done the opposite when we've stayed at POFQ and stopped for a drink at Riverside.

how do you get to crossroads
Mitch - if you exit the main Marketplace through the exit by the Earl of Sandwich or go from the first bus stops there is a pedestrian crossing which takes you over the road. To your left is the Buena Vista Palace and ahead is the Regal Sun (formerly Grosvenor). Just keep walking straight up the road past the main entrance to the Regal Sun for about a mile and you get to the other end of Hotel Plaza Boulevard where it meets 535. Crossroads is directly in front of you with shops and various places to eat.
I wouldn't describe the walk as picturesque but it has nice wide paths that are fairly well lit and plenty of places to get a drink at the end of it.
