Ok DS is 5 and about 50lbs. Here in Cali he needs a booster seat in the car is that also the case in FL? We only have the car for 2 days to go to KSC.

Thanks JM I think we will just bring his booster as his carry on, as it seems that he does not meet the hight requirements to go without it.

Oh really, we can't just put it in the over head bin? How does that work if you are changing planes? We do not have much time between connections.

Is it a no-back booster? If so, they may let you put it in the overhead. Most boosters I see now have full backs, so they wouldn't be able to go in the overhead.

On his the back comes off and I was just going to take the seat part without the back.
