Hello, this is my first post on the boards so i hope this is the right place.

Well we have been to disney now 8 times, we have never stayed on site we have always stayed either in a villa or motel in Kissimmee.

It always amazes me how each time we go we always find something new, last year we found the disney crazy golfs courses(great fun they are too).
Well we heard so many things about disneys boardwalk, about shops restauants etc so we tried to find it, and couldnt!! so can any one tell me how we get to it and what is there?
also is there any other things we can do on disney site except the main parks, even tho we are staying of site that dont cost the earth and we will be also in a hire car so can we get there park etc or can we use disney transport?

Disney's Boardwalk is located around the lake where the Beach Club/Yacht Club/Boardwalk Inn are. You can get there from epcot by exiting at the back of world showcase between UK and France ( the international gateway) and catching a boat there, or if you drive, follow the road signs to Epcot resort area and use the public parking lot across from Boardwalk Inn. :)

In addition to the mini-golf parks, there is a campfire/singalong at Fort Wilderness that you can take advantage of.

From Kissimmee, if you are coming up World Drive (the main route straight into Magic Kingdom) you should turn right along the main Buena Vista Drive following the signs towards Downtown Disney. You'll come to the junction where you turn right to go into DHS and the left turn should be sign posted for Disney Boardwalk Hotel. Take this turn and you'll find parking there. If you get to the Hess filling station on the left, you've gone too far.

thankyou, hopefully we will be able to find it now this year instead of going round in circles!!
