View Full Version : DVC booking last minute - Help please

We've goofed big time and not banked our extra points this year. Have just noticed that we have points to use by the end of November - about a weeks worth.

Having initially been annoyed as we thought we'd lose them, we are now crazily getting excited about the prospect of an extra bonus trip to WDW. However, I'm worried we won't actually be able to get a booking at this late stage and can't ring Member services until tomorrow.

Does anyone have any experience or views if we might be ok please? We don't care where we stay at all...

Member services are open today, call and see what openings they have. I would be surprised if all the DVC's are full at WDW.

How many complications can there be?!! We've spent about 7 hours in the last couple of days trying to get this sorted. Am currently in a state of brain meltdown - but now just need our 2 bosses to OK the dates before we can make a booking.

Please have lots of fingers crossed and pixie dust that no more flights or rooms disappear before they do!!!

WE DID IT!!! 10 nights at SS.

What a saga - dodging Thanksgiving, Alan's work and various other seemingly random non available days at DVC , flight unavailability etc we finally got a whole 10 day booking - YIPPEE.

However much we love the BWV it will be nice to have a change! Better get booking some food and golf now...

This trip is having a strange affect on me - am so extra excited it's crazy. Its not like I don't get excited for our BWV trips, but its more routine I guess as we always go to the same place at the same time of year.

Golf is booked, holiday off work is booked, flights and Gatwick Hilton booked. And we can buy an annual pass too as we'll be back again in May - all good!
