I've never been to SW, does it really need help? Is it worth visiting?

Well , I've never been there ... but unless you really LOVE fish , I've heard it wasnt that great. We love disney so much , that we never want to leave property when we are there ... so we just dont bother with universal and sea world , but some people really enjoy them . But they are nothing like Disney from what I've heard.

This will be my 4th trip to WDW and I always go to Seaworld, it's great.

I must agree with the last two replies, Sea World is a great little park. Ok it's not Disney but it doesn't try to be. The Shamu shows are great and the firework and laser show isn't bad either.
The aquatic exhibits are very good and the other shows are pretty good too.
I happen to think Kraken is as good as Hulk which I have ridden several times and have yet to understand what all the fuss is about.
The only thing I find puzzling is why they think building some shops and a restaurant will attract more people to the park. Surely they need more rides/exhibits.
Just my 2 cent!

How can you say that Karl?! :D :D

About Sea World... I enjoyed it but I wouldn't be too bothered about visiting it next time, although I wouldn't mind going on Journey to Atlantis and Kraken again.:hehe:
I didn't like the way they charged extra for the Sky Tower. You already pay for the ticket and then they charge you extra for one of the attractions.:(

Yeah, I know I must be in the minority but it's never done anything for me Hulk.
c'est la vie :)

I agree, charging for the tower at Sea World is a bit rich. We've never been on it for this reason.
That said we still love the place, the Shamu show is great and that water is really cold!

We went to Sea World on our last trip. I did ride Kraken but it started raining just as we left the building and by the time we got back I was soaked. Couldn't see a thing. Didn't ride Atlantis. Also didn't go up in the tower. How much extra do they charge for that?

John, I have to admit - I think it was only a tiny amount extra that they charge, like $5 or something like that. I know that might not be much but it was still the thought of having to pay extra on top of the ticket money which made me not go on it.:)
