There is a new International Food shop open on McLeod. (I-4 east to Kirkman NORTH exit to right on McLeod, the shop is on the right). It's a bit of a drive from WDW area, but worth it if you are looking for that special food item that isn't usually available in "regular" shops. I was transported when I discovered Irish bacon in the freezer case. There are imported from Britain, bangers, steak and kidney pies, shepards pie, and bunches and bunches of other UK products.
There are also Middle Eastern, Indian, Pakistani, Asian, Greek and some Italian items for sale. The prices are quite reasonable and the shop is open Saturdays.
You may want to check it out!

Oooh, Irish bacon, yum!
I might have to check that out next time I'm in the 'neighbourhood' ;)
How do they manage to get round the ol' "thou shall not bring meat products into thy country"?

Some meat products are allowed. I don't know what the requirements are, only that some companies meet those requirements and their products are allowed as imports.

What is irish bacon? Fingers crossed, this is the first time I have ventured asking for an explanation for a long time, lol.

It's a wonderful, lean, very thin slice of pork. It is completely unlike our fatty, smoked to death stuff. If I had to compare it, it is similar to "Canadian" bacon with just a tiny bit on the edge like our bacon. Just love the stuff! :)
