Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party - Review and Pics

This summer we were lucky enough try out the new MK Wishes Desserts Party We booked as soon as reservations were available for the 14th August - out second night at WDW

Some people reported problems when booking this event as some CMs were booking people in for an ADR at Tomorrowland Noodlestation instead, but we had no problem and we knew the booking was right due to the pre taken credit card charge. We paid $17.99 plus tax each for this, but I understand the prices have gone up now

Wishes was scheduled for 10pm on the 14th so we arrived at 20:45, as advised when booking. By this time, quite a line had formed of people waiting to get in. I'd say there were about 150 people. I am not sure what capacity is for the party, but we were maxed out that night as I saw people being turned away Around 20:50 a CM came up the line to hand out wrist bands and to give each party a letter… we were "A"…. Later we found out this was for the tables as they were all pre-assigned and had the party name on there:

We were let into the seating area around 21:00 and almost immediately hit the dessert buffet We hadn't had dinner that evening, just a late lunch at Toy Story Pizza Palace so we were hungry!

The buffet had plenty of variety of desserts, something for almost everyone:

They were all delicious A nice mini size so you could sample plenty

There was a drinks station too with tea (hot and iced), coffee, water and juice - it would have been nice to have some fizzy drinks there too though.

We could just about see Spectro proceed through from where we were sitting and when Wishes started everyone came up to the barrier to watch There was plenty of room for everyone there too, so there was no pushing or squeezing in

All in all it was nice to try something new but you could probably recreate your own little desserts party by buying some yummies and finding a good Wishes spot. It was definitely good not having to stake a spot hours in advance, but the view was nothing spectacular…. There are better views in the park but it was good to see a different view! The one really good thing about the view is that Tinkerbelle flies literally above your head, and even though it's a few seconds of the whole time there it was worth it to see the flight

Thanks for posting this - I really like the look of it and if it's still on in summer then think we'll give it a go.

Seems like this would be something that they would continue. I would assume it's attendance based...as long as they don't outprice themselves, seems like it wouldn't stop.

It's proved to be very popular I think!

Yes, it's the same number as the normal Disney Dining Line - just ask to book the Wishes Dessert Party and they'll know what to do They'll ask for a pre-payment too

Re: Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party - Review and Pics

Your pictures of the desserts and fireworks are amazing! I've been reading mixed reviews on the dessert parties but it sounds like you enjoyed it well enough.

I'm surprised to hear how many people they let attend though. i was imagining maybe 50 not 150!
