Disney site/Virgin hols site

I have seen that Disney are offering free DDP at the moment, they are advitising it on the disneyworldoffer site and the tv (uk) but it does not seem to take this into account when i go online to the website or on virginholidays either. does anyoone know why? the offer site does say to go to disneyworld site or other tour operator such as virgin but nothing is said on these sites when i try to book/get a quote. would i have to ring either of these do u think? i was trying to do online because im just after a quote so i can work out my budget.
has anyone else found this problem?
Thanks.

Disney UK are only offering the free DDP for moderate resorts and upwards. Which hotel did you try to get a quote for? I've just had a look on Disney and also Virgin and have managed to get quotes on both their sites which include the free DDP.

Re: Disney site/Virgin hols site

I had to phone virgin in Aug to get the free dining offer with them as could not get it to show on virgin holidays online. Also when I phoned I spoke to a lovely lady who also could not get the offer of free dining on POR or POFQ.

She left me on hold to speak to a superviser saying I should be able to get the free dining, 5 mins later she had a supervisor overide the system and we got free dining for nov2010 with virgin holidays. The cost was less than disney direct with free dining even though the disney flights were the same virgin ones ?

I also had to phone disney uk for a quote for reasearch we needed 2 rooms which cannot be done online and was surprised at the price differnce.

I found both virgin and disney very helpfull on the phone, we used an alternative number for virgin to the brochure listed one via the say no to 0870website, so no overseas operators. Disney we used there regular line and although slow the lady quoting us was very helpfull. I don't think you can get a better price via phone with disney as online they only do one room bookings. I think the phone line for virgin tries to match the online price but on both occasions we have booked with them we have had to do phone as the website never seemed to do what we knew we could book and price seemed similar to our online estimates. For May 2009 holiday we had a child under 3 who should not count in room alocation but online would not do that and it took a phone call to book that too. Online with on that occassion we could only have 2 rooms but I knew we would fit into one.
