Lights?

Hi everyone! We are thinking about heading to DW the day before Thanksgiving. Can anyone tell me what lights they will have up? Christmas or Fall? We were there for Labor Day weekend and they had all of the fall/halloween decorations up. We are thinking about going the day before Thanksgiving and staying for 4 or 5 nights. Thanks in advance.

Re: Lights?

FYI, I was a Disney's Hollywood Studios on Sunday. To me it looked like all - or nearly all - the Osborne lights were up. They even had installed the manger scene.

Re: Lights?

I was there last week (Nov 2) and it was still Halloween, but I am certain that soon, if not already, Christmas will be in full swing. (Are we allowed to say Christmas anymore... yikes... I mean Ramadan/Kwanza/Chanukah.)

Re: Lights?

We left Saturday and MK was decorated for Christmas. The only thing missing was the tree. Even the plants were switched overnight to Poinsettias etc. it amazes me how they do it!

Wow they have a manger scene, that is really good. Even shopping centres here get complaints over the nativity scene's they installed as they 'offend' people so the fact that disney are strong enough to still have that with so many diffrent people with diffrent beliefs going through is really good.

OMG! I can hardly believe that Disney would permit a manger; that timeless symbol of hatred, bigotry, totalitarianism, not to mention Islamophobia, homophobia, and racism!

In this multi cultural, multi ethnic, multi ideology Winter Solstice Season, Disney had better schedule Gay Days for the entire month of December just to offset the evil manger scene and restore purity to the political correctness of Disney's modern soul.

Of course I satirize.

I am overjoyed to see this tiny glimpse of Disney's once Traditional Americana values. Hooray! Its a start.

Note: I am not Christian, but my values are Traditional American, and Christmas should stay Christmas, not some modern generic milquetoast holiday.

We went over on Saturday night, but didn't see a manger scene. Do you remember where that was?

The Osbourne lights were very good for the most part. They played a heavy metal rock song with the flashing lights which wasn't pleasantly festive, but otherwise was delightful.
