Got in The Beach Club!

I'm so excited, I got my reservations for BCV for Nov./Dec. of this year. Yeah, I know since it's my home resort I should excpect to but I had been told so many times how popular this one was that it was filling up & even members weren't able to get in that I was a nervous wreck! We just joined last August & couldn't get in BCV for our Nov. trip (stayed at OKW) so this will be our first time there! We did stay at BC Nov. of 2001 & loved it though!

Old Key West was lovely. The rooms were very spacious & I liked the fact you got two actual beds instead of one sofa bed. It's a sprawling resort but as far as actual rooms the number is low compared to other huge resorts so it never felt crowded or the buses were never packed. The pool was a little dull for my kids who really like slides but if you aren't into that it would be perfect as it was very relaxing (except for the two boys tossing the football over everyones heads! Why do parents allow that???). Anyway. I would stay there again. Would love to get a Grand Villa sometime! But that would mean I'd have to bring extended family so..........

we just stayed at broadwalk while my brother stayed at Beach club -- he was so excited to get in!

the place is really nice, not as large as okw though! You still get a patio or a balcony and
i beleive they are changing some of the rooms to beds or queen size sofa beds.

you'll like the quiet pool. kids of course want the slide.

Our problem at the quiet pool was sooo many parents bought their kids to the quiet pool. And they also played football all afternoon and screeamed alot-- just having fun. But then why call it a quiet pool!
Sorry if i sound crabby but It was really annoying when you consider that other great big pool is so close and would have been more fun for the kids anyway!

I HATE when kids play football in a pool! I'm sorry, I know it's a boy thing & I have girls but I think it's incredibly rude when other people are in the pool, especially people with small children who don't want them getting beamed by a football! Plus they take up the entire pool so you have this itty bitty corner that you & your kids have to stay in. Of course, I can be pretty obnoxious & will just flat out get in there way. If I get beamed by a ball, well, it's on baby! Where are your parents! I know I sound really mean don't I really I'm such a nice person, you just hit on one of my pet peaves

I got back the 25th from the BCV they are great. Everything is rite there. the room was super. We got a 2 bedroom villa just great. It was our first time down as members. We didn't get a welcome home not one. the parks wre packed.
The cast members weren't not as friendly , they weren't mean but not engaging. ex: my wife two my two girls went to the boardwalk on are last night to get the hair yarn thing whatever you call it. it was 10:35 she closes at 11:00 two girls ahead of them .she says"I don't have time to do them sorry". my wife said it was the way she said that upset her.
back to the villas just great.
