Question Bride and Groom Ears

Hello Everybody!!
I have heard that the bride and groom ears are a must for honeymooners. I was curious if anyone knew where I could get them, or if it was possible to get them prior to our trip.
I wanted to hear some good stories from people who have worn these hats around the parks. I have to admit, I am going to feel weird wearing them, but will do it for the wife to be.

Hi there!

You can get them from the larger disney shops in the parks..... we saw them in mousegear at epcot which is one of our fave shops but they were also at world of disney in downtown disney and so on.

The groom one isnt too bad really ;-) you only look semi-mad... the bride one is a bit more extravagent with a veil and stuff ;-) I have them here still from our trip.

I chickened out a bit .. mainly because I don't do hats and felt a bit weird.... but yep, wearing them gets you lots of congratulations from guests and cms alike and a fair bit of special treatment.

At restaurants, we'd take them off but leave them on the table and most places did something special like a special desert with congratulations written round the plate or something like that.

It's part of the fun so yeah, worth doing

Here is a picture of the ears! Get used to them, they are worth wearing. We got lots of free food, gifts, front row seats, we even got to go on rides all by ourselves! They make you feel like the only people in the park. Go for it!

My husband and I purchased them on our recent trip to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary . We bought them at the Grand Floridian . We, too, were congratulated by the CM's . We felt kind of strange since we were only celebrating our anniversary . We explained to everyone that we were Not newlyweds . They thought it was great , though , that we were so much in love after 15 years to be wearing the bride and groom ears . We received stickers from the CM's and a special cupcake with our dinner . We had a great time !!!!!!!! The hats are now one of my most cherished souvenoirs. Please, buy the hats and enjoy ! You'll be glad you did . Congratulations !

I bought a set for our daughter and son-in-law (well, he was our future "SIL" at the time) when we visited WDW in 1997. After searching all over MK and Epcot, I found them at a small stall set up in an area just inside the gates of Epcot. And I saw them as we were leaving the park as it was closing. But I rushed over and bought them!

I put the ears, along with a book I had made, and their tickets (we sent them to WDW for their honeymoon) inside a beautifully decorated box. They had NO idea where we were sending them, but when they opened the box, the first thing they saw was their ears! Then they knew!

I KNOW we'll hear all about it in your upcoming trip report...but did you get lots of attention from wearing the ears? Any special treatment??
