Boardwalk Add Ons

Weeeell, I've been thinking about getting an add on (in particular BoardWalk Villas). I called up and it turned out to be a very easy process.

Here are some details from the DVC email sent to me:

Quote:
Exclusive opportunity for you to add on at Disney's BoardWalk Villas!
It's amazing but true: Disney Vacation Club has additional inventory available at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, thanks to recent space conversion at this popular resort.
To give you the first chance, Disney Vacation Club is offering this limited inventory exclusively to Members through May 31, 2003, while it lasts. After that, the sale will be available to everyone, so call today!
Don't miss this opportunity! Remember that your Add-On must have the same Use Year as your Master Contract; some Use Years will sell out sooner than others.

Congratulations DC!!! How do you plan on using your newly acquired points? Taking me with you on your next trip, right?

miraclemoments,

Sure, come on down!
Actually, having to pay cash prices for the Polynesian got me to thinking, I could put the cash towards an add-on and I could use the points for the room. (The out of pocket expenses would be almost the same, the only difference is I would the DVC again next year!)

In the meantime, the Fantasy Packages came out. So, now I am really conflicted--because they are offering concierge on the Fantasy package and I am thinking that I will never see the price for 7 days in the concierge that low again, ever.... Maybe I will bank my points....

Arrow help

help

we've been thinking about buying more points thru resale- it seems so much cheaper. Now, this add-on comes up?

whats the advantages-disadvantages of going dvs vs resale?

what is the current price per point?

how soon can you settle? finance?

i thought so too! ...that i should use the hotel costs for points instead of just renting a room for the nite! (10 nites actually!)
thanks, Carol
