Myself and DH are staying at OKW from August 17-23. Should we purchase our Park Hopper in advance? I know if we wait and get the Length of Stay, we will get 10% off because we are DVC. Is a Length of Stay the same as a Park Hopper Plus?? Should I buy in advance (will I still get my 10% off?), or wait until we get there?

If you buy at Disney Stores, I believe you do get your 10% off.
Yes, Length of Stay=Park Hopper Plus to an extent - LOS tickets allow you to come and go as you please, where as the Plus has a limit to the number of options (generally two or four) You can also take a look at Maple Leaf Tickets to see if they've any tickets or specials that will get you a bigger bargain that Disney less 10%... |

The major difference between LoS and PH+ is that any unused days on your PH+ don't expire. LoS tickets are only good during your stay at that Disney resort.

Re: Buying Tickets
Quote:
If you are staying on points, you can get a DVC discount when you buy your LOS at WDW. If you order it in advance, they will charge you for your entire LOS. If you wait until you arrive at WDW, you can get them to drop your arrival or departure day (or maybe both). A lot of DVC owners do purchase a 7 day park hopper plus and they will squeeze a couple of visits out of it-- They do this by using 3 park days on one visit and 4 park days on the next (or vice-versa) and then they supplement the remaining days with the plus options using them to go to the water parks. The LOS pass is good if you are planning to go to the parks every day with visits to a water park (or Disney Quest or Pleasure Island) each day. If you used the plus pass to do the same thing, you would use a park day and a plus option for each extra (and DQ is not even one of the plus options). Have you figured out an itinerary, yet? This might help you figure out which pass would work best for you. -DC ![]()
