Just got home...We are Now DVC members!!

I know there are people here that i asked questions of...my hubby did it! Well, me too! Anyway we were able to buy in at the Boardwalk because they are moving their offices and that area will be converted into rooms. We were only able to afford 160 points, but that will give us 2 studios for the times we can go...This means the kids have their own rooms and we have one! I don't want the full kitchen anyway...and I don't want the washer and dryer (there is a free laundry room if we do need it in an emergency anyway)...

I wish we could have gotten more points, but hey! It is a start and I have a guaranteed vacation at WDW every year now!

Just wanted to share my happiness.

Dolores

Congrats!!
It's nice to see another NH DVC member!
My DH and I only have 150 pts, but it is nice to know that every year we will have a nice vacation in Disney!
Like you said, it is a start, and you can always add on at a later point.
Congrats again and Welcome Home!!

Just wanted to say "'Welcome Home". We've been members at BWV since 1999 and haven't regretted a single day since. We have 150 pts also and find we've been able to do a lot with them. We get at least a week in a one or two bedroom every year we go. Congratulations!

I don't really understand how this works...........

WE signed on Saturday. Now, I just have to mail them a copy of paycheck stub and a cancelled check for direct withdrawal.

Mickey paid all closing costs, lol. The cool thing that I never thought about til I was walking around Disney World...the interest would be tax deductible and they told us that a portion (I am sure not very big) of the annual dues is deductible as taxes on the property.

Welcome Home! You are going to love your DVC! Don't worry one bit about the number of points you've purchased. You've got points, is the important thing! No one ever has enough anyway!

Boardwalk is a great location!!!

Welcome to the club!
You will soon realise that joining the DVC is one of the best things you`ve done especially if you enjoy WDW as much as the rest of us on the boards.
We`ve been members since 1992 and have recouped our investment over and over by now.
Happy Holidays!

Congrats & Welcome Home!!

I've only been a DVC member at BCV for about a year now but we've enjoyed it so much & have already had 2 vacations & one pending on the points. My only regret is not having done it years ago!
