Disneymoon

Hello all.

I am getting married on September 6th and will be Honeymooning at the Coronado Springs Resort from 9/7-9/12. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice on some romantic things we can do while we are there? Our travel agent said that we'll probably get a free room upgrade (I hope, I hope, I hope).

We are going to the Coral Reef on Sunday and have reservations for the Disney character breakfast at the Crystal Palace on Monday AND the Polynesian Luau on Tuesday. Other than that we're pretty up in the air as to what to do. We have the ultimate park hopper pass, so we'll get to hop around from park to park.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks!

First off, congrants on your pending wedding!

Your going during a great time of year. Kids are back in school so the crowds are down, yet you still have nice weather so you can do water rides without a care

I would say you should get the Minnie/Mickey bride/groom ears and wear them everywhere and be sure to tell anyone who will listen (esp. for your PS's) that your on your honeymoon!

Have a great time and welcome to the boards (There are a couple of people who have honeymooned at Disney and will be along shortly I'm sure to give you some other advice)

Thank you so much for the well wishes!

My MIL went last year and bought us the bride/groom mickey and minnie ears. Absoultely adorable!! We are leaving our reception with them on....much to my FH's chagrin . BUT he's agreed to wear them around Disney for perks.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You will have a blast ! We had our honeymoon at WDW and it was amazing!!

I can echo the posts above and tell everyone who will listen. It is the little things you will remember - like being put by the fishtank in the coral reef restraunt.

Like I have posted elsewhere dont charge about, hold hands and stroll from ride to ride, when we went we were walking down mainstreet in MK and Lisa said - 'you know what ....I want to do Tower of Terror' - so we strolled out of the park and went to MGM and did just that. Enjoy the parks but enjoy being with each other as well - (may be your last time without kids )

Oh yeah - have a meal in the California Grill at the contemporary. Especially when the MK fireworks are on - will remember that for ever!!

I agree with all of the above. We booked a table for Cinderella castle and told them it was our one month anniversary (which it was...not telling a lie!) and they gave us the best table and treated us like royalty. I know that is a resaurant where they probably would anyway, but all the 'congratualtions' from the CM's and the beautiful table was a dream!

If you don't want to wear the ears all the time, why not make up BRIDE and GROOM tee shirts?

A funny for you - we saw a couple wearing them on a recent trip (they were staying at our resort) I make it a habit to wish anyone celebrating (weraing buttons) a 'Happy Birthday' or 'Best Wishes' or whatever their button/shirt, etc says. Well, we saw this poor guy over and over and over again. The bride always had on a different shirt, but he had the same one on, day after day. Finally broke down and asked him how many he had. "Oh, I've a whole drawer full, but if she's going to embarass me and make me wear them all week, I'm going to embarass her and wear just this one every day."

I wonder if they are still married??
