What are some DVC discounts that you have taken advantage of recently?
When we visited in July, I finally found out what the bonus was at Ghiradellis. (DH was only too happy to help me solve this mystery
)Here is the DVC member offer: "Ghirardelliฎ Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop at Downtown Disneyฎ Marketplace Stop by this chocolate-lover's paradise at Downtown Disney Marketplace for world-famous chocolate candy, flavored coffees, cocoa mixes, and soda fountain treats. Members receive a "sweet" gift with each purchase of $10 or more." The gift is: a small Ghirardelli candy bar of your choice! When we visited in May, we received a coupon good for Complimentary One Day Rental of Pal Mickey (the coupons are good through Sept 30th) which we were able to apply towards the purchase of PM. Anybody else take advantage of any DVC discounts? -DC ![]()

10% off at the food at Disneyquest came in quite handy! The best "perk" I have used lately is going to a member meeting. We got a free cap, free sunvisor, two pins, one mousepad and a beachball.

Lets see, it doesn't seem there are many perks but maybe I've used more than I realize. I know we've used the valet parking for free many times. We've pool hopped a lot. Hmmmmm, I can't think of any dining discounts we've used at all. I believe that might be it.

I forgot about the free valet parking! We must have used it 6 times on our last visit. Another thing that I count as a savings is the washer/dryer. I read somewhere that it costs $2.00 for a wash and $2.00 to dry a load of clothes at the Polynesian. (Other than DVC, I have never done wash while on vacation because it is too much of a hastle. I am going to try to pack fewer clothes on my next two visits and just get by with a carryon--no checked baggage, yes!) -DC

Ooh, that's right, laundry. I should've thought of that because I am one of those that always washed clothes. One time I spent $25 on 3 loads to wash & dry. It's outragous! So I know I've saved there.
