Getting Engaged In WDW questions?

I am looking to become engaged to my girlfriend at WDW. My dream would be to take her to Cinderella's Castle and do it there under fireworks.

But my question is this; Is there anyway to go inside the castle to do this? I have heard stories of it, and was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on who to contact or where to go in order to get information and possibly setup a date to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, feel free to IM or email me at any time.

That is SOO sweet!

My personal preference and opinion is that outside the beautiful lighted Castle with fireworks overhead would be VERY romantic and memorable.

Also, if you don't choose to do it in the crowd at the fireworks, you can linger around Main Street and the Castle for a good 20-30 minutes after the official closing and the whole park clears out. (Get a snack from the Main Street Bake Shop or browse in the Emporium) Head back to toward the castle and propose to her right in front of it, just the two of you!

GOOD LUCK! Make sure to let us all know how it goes!

I asked my partner to marry me while having dinner inside Cinderella's castle. It was very cool and got a lovely round of applause from the local tables. We were there with another couple last May and return next June for our honeymoon. It was really lovely because at the end of our meal our waiter bought out 2 boxed champaigne flutes.

If your going to do it outside I would wait to after the fireworks as it is very busy and very loud. Its a very romantic idea though

Good Luck

:flower: I bet if you contacted a CM as soon as you go into MK that day they might be able to set something up for you at Cindy's Castle that would be cool, it might be worth a try - go to the info counter in main street when she is in the bathroom.

im planning to get engaged to my lady at wdw as well next week (scary) and i liked the idea of asking her during the fireworks by cinders castle, but as trish says it could be a little crowded so im going on a fireworks cruise just myself and my girlfriend, apparently the boats have a great view of the castle and the fireworks and you also have more privacy

check this thread to get an idea what its like

My fiance proposed to me in the Mexico Building in Epcot. He had asked me what my favorite place was and had it set up so that we had the boat to ourselves. It was so romantic! We ate in the resturant afterward and watched the fireworks when we got outside.
We are now going back for our Honeymoon in August 2004!!
Can't wait!!
