Vero Beach Resort - Photos

We've stayed at VB twice since joining DVC last year. This is definitely the place to stay at if you just want to relax, and that is exactly what we like about it.

There's the beach, the pool, the restaurants and the lounge. There's a few excursions around Indian River (nature walks, bike trails, river excursions and scuba). There's the Indian River Mall with the typical stores and an AMC theater. And we cannot wait to go back, been able to sleep-in, walk down to the beach, grab something to eat, maybe catch a movie later in the day... doesn't that sound nice!?

Here are some photos from our two trips, many are panoramics so be patient while they download. Enjoy!!!

Great photos! I particularly thank you for the Christmas shot. I've never been there during the Christmas season so it was nice to sea.

I really love going to VB. It is such a relaxing place to spend a few days. The one bedrooms I've had have been different (color scheme wise) than the one in your photos. Nice!

Wow I really liked the pictures. I am going to show my husband the pictures. Maybe one day we can go there. Looks so relaxing!

It is very relaxing.
Just one word of caution, if you go kayaking and you see two manatees relaxing close to the edge of the water... DO NOT APPROACH THEM!!!

I had never seen a manatee swim away so fast. I guess I woke it up. Our guide told us that this was the first time she has seen this happen to somebody and the kayak not get turned over by the manatee when it hits the underside of the kayak. I sure was lucky since I had my camera with me.

Vero Beach was the first Disney resort we ever went into and we were amazed how friendly everyone was when we asked if we could look around. A few trips later we finally stayed there for our 20th wedding anniversary. Definitely one of my favourites
