Thanks again Keith
Would you mind telling us how much the MK photos were? We have asked for a price but they haven't got back to us yet, We'll definately have them but it would be nice to know for our budget. Sorry, if this is a cheeky question!!

I agree, every year would be perfect

Re: Keith - Photos

Not cheeky at all remember this was dec 2002 so it could be different now but reading from our invoice it was $725 actually I thought it ended up less than that.. but anyway, that's what's down on the paper.
includes photography 1hr at MK, 1 album with 12 5*5 shots and all additional 5*5s and negs. Transportation to and from resort. 6am pickup

Re: Keith - Photos

Not bad at all!
I thought it would be a lot more than that! I didn't realise they provided transport aswell. I want those photos more than anything!Well not as much as my fiance of course!
I can't wait, the more I talk about it, the more excited I get!

Did you get a rehersal or run through of events before the big day or does it just happen as it seems to in Disney?

How did you find getting the marriage license? I worried because we will arrive on Easter weekend and so the courthouse will be shut. Any suggestions? We'll still have the Tuesday and Wednesday I suppose.

Re: Keith - Photos

Yeah it's good value really for being in MK on your own and on the castle in wedding attire etc.... very few others will have those photos

No rehersal (although you can pay for one <G>) it just happens and to be fair to them, it happens flawlessly.

We arrived late late late did I say LATE on a thursday night/fri morning about 3am stupid stupid planes. We'd left the house in UK about 6am(uk time) on thu morning, so were REALLY tired......

Anyway, the wedding was on Saturday so we had to go on friday to get the license.

Anyway, the limo picked us up about 10ish I think and for some reason it took nearly an hour to get to the courthouse (longer than I thought). Getting the license was easy enough though. Turn up, go to window... say "marriage license please" hand over passports etc.... fill in forms.... sit down and wait 20mins or so. Then they came back with the license and that was that!

Really really easy, absolutely no big deal at all... I reckon you need to allocate 3hrs in the morning/afternoon to get there, get it done and get back (unless there's some sort of hideous queue that I didn't see).

Re: Keith - Photos

awww thanks Bec..... although I take photos professionally, I HATE being in them (unless I have a year or so to lose hundreds of pounds so I did try and escape but wasn't allowed <G>

The best part for Helen was on the sweeping staircase of the grand floridian where people were stood watching us have photos taken (and shy little ole me was turning more red by the moment)... but one of the little girls said to her mommy "look mommy its a real princess! will she live in the castle now....." which just completely made Helen's day.

Anyway, can't say enough good things about the disney wedding... I mean I was mega stressed beforehand because I didn't think much of our wedding co-ordinator, but it was 100% worth it. (and that's from a guy so you know it has to have been good ;-)

Re: Keith - Photos

They have a variety Jockey.... we were given a few in our wedding pack for our own photos.... the blue one is the largest and costs $20 to buy in the shops.

I prefer the white one which I couldn't find anywhere in WDW but ended up finding in DisneyLand Paris for 28Euros

The actual wedding albums they put our photos in were special and not in any of the shops... they're from a wedding album company called art leather which many photographers use.
