This is probably aimed at Keith and Redkop as i know they married abroad, but I am thinking about getting insurance for my wedding in December, did either of you bother with this??

Re: Wedding Insurance
We didn't actually no!
We had holiday insurance of course so that covered the actual trip and in terms of the wedding, I felt in the end that since it was all booked through Disney, it wasn't as though we were going to have our limo provider not turn up or the photographer ill or something like that because they had so many backups. I admit though... I don't know what the penalty would've been if for some reason we had to postpone would've been. So I didn't but I could see why it might be a good idea. |

Re: Wedding Insurance
It was really for things like the dress, rings etc like that if they get damaged or stolen, that was the only thing really.

Re: Wedding Insurance
yeah..... our wedding was a couple of days after we got to Disney and the dress was with us on the plane (not in the hold or anything scary) and so on... so to be honest, I just felt the risk was small.
But then again, if the insurance doesn't cost much, I can definitely see the point of it. |
