Help! Little details

Help!

We are well underway with our WDW wedding plans, 31st March 2005. But I need help. We have the cake and champagne reception in GF which I have been told last about 30 mins and thats fine. We have also made reservations for our wedding party in Narcoosee's for the wedding meal. What I need to know is during the time between the cake and champagne reception ending and the wedding meal is there a lobby bar or something in the GF where we can have a few drinks before our dinner.

Also, has anyone experienced their wedding yet booked through Virgin, we'd liuke to know about the photograph package. How long we have him/her for and how many photos are taken, where etc.

I didn't book through virgin, but I think they just rebook through disney anyway, do you know what the photo package is called?

In terms of a bar, there's a nice one on the second floor called Mizner's lounge (I think).. depending how many people you have it would be pretty perfect for a nice interlude.

Thanks Keith

Lounge bar sounds lovely. We are a total party of 13 (11 adults and 2 children) Do you think this would be okay?

The photography package is called 'Intimate wedding photography package'. It says it "includes 12 photographs in a keepsake album plus photo CD" I'm quoting out of the Virgin brochure. Do they take proofs and then you choose or do you have what your given?

We are having the MK photos but I want to make sure we have photos of the Wedding day too.

13 would be fine for that lounge!!

photography wise..... it sounds like you'll get the photographer starting at the wedding venue going through to the reception (but worth checking). Probably about 1.5 hours or so. They normally choose the 12 photographs for you rather than the usual "proof and choose" system. 48hours later you get the package, album, & photo cd.

Keith

Do you tell the photographer some of the ideas for photos you had or did he just do it? Are all of the photos taken on photo CD?

Re: Help! Little details

I tried but he had his own ideas. From experience, it depends on the photographer, some like input from their clients others think they know better (and sometimes they do).

Being fair though, yeah, I suggested certain photos I thought would look good and he did them without a fuss.

Looking at the photo cd, I'd say they deleted any just plain bad photos, blurred, technically bad etc. and gave all the rest. So yeah, on my cd at least, there are plenty.

What time of day are we talking about here? Sounds like late afternoon. There is also a nice lounge/bar in Citrico's as well as one in Narcoosee's itself.

I`d check out the bar at Narcoosee`s first. The last time we dined there, the bar area had been filled with dining tables and there were oinly a handful of bar stools by the bar.

There are also a lot of comfy couches and chairs in the lobby of the GF in case the 2nd floor bar is crowded. We used to have a "night cap" there in the evening using the waitress service, however more recently they seem to have ditched this service. I`m not 100% sure that they allow alcohol in that area during the day though...best to check first.
