Airport to Hotel to Cruis
I need advice on the best (and most economical way) to get from the airport to a hotel in Cape Canaveral where we'll be staying for two nights and then to the Disney cruise and then from the cruise back to the airport. I can't change my itinerary due to the use of frequent fllier mileage for the airfare. I was hoping there was a hotel in Cape Canaveral who can pick us up but I understand the Cape is about 45 miles from MCO.
Any help is very much appreciated. |

Re: Airport to Hotel to Cruis
Unless you are staying at Cape Canaveral for a particular reason, why not stay at a Disney Resort in Orlando instead?
You could then take the DCL shuttle bus from some of these resorts to the Cape and back to the airport. I can`t remember exactly the cost, but it is around $10-$15 per person each way I believe. On the other hand Cocoa Beach is fairly close to the terminal at the Cape, and I am sure that there are loads of hotels there to choose from.

Re: Airport to Hotel to Cruis
I second Slowhand's idea of staying at a Disney Resort. It would be so much easier as far as transport. They would take care of transporting your luggage from the Resort to the DCL Terminal, the same "Key to the World" you would use to get into your room and to charge to you can continue to use at the DCL. I would investigate this possibility a bit further

Re: Airport to Hotel to Cruis
I appreciate the feedback but we're planning a day at the Kennedy Space Center and we did seven days at the WDW last year. We might just use Quicksilver again and stay at a hotel that provides transportation to the DCL and KSC. Thanks again!
