Directions to Busch Gardens
The Beyond Disney guidebook advises-
The best way to get there is via I-275. Driving west on I-4, there are signs for Busch Gardens, but we recommend avoiding them to avoid a long journey through city streets of Tampa. Proceed instead to the junction of I-275 and go north. Exit at Busch Boulevard (exit 33), turn right, and drive a little over 2 miles, the entrance to BG will be on your left. - has anyone used this route? Is it quicker? - been trying to find directions with a map on mapquest.com and mappoint.com, but all give directions via I-4, with no option for saying you want to go a different road. Does anyone know where I can get more detailed directions with a map? Thanks ![]()

Re: Directions to Busch Gardens
Joanne, you'll still have to take I-4 to I-275 coming out of Orlando.

Is it as simple as it reads? Take I-4 Then I-275 north (is there an exit number for this?) Exit 33 turn right 2 miles to BG I just like to know exactly where I'm going, would hate to get lost out there ![]() |

Yes, as simple as that. I do not know the exit number but it will be a big I275 sign for sure... ![]() |

Re: Directions to Busch Gardens
Although I didn't do the actual driving to BG, we found it with no problems at all. It is sign posted well in advance.

Would it not be easier to drive to Premium Outlet and park the car all day for free and get the Busch Garden Shuttle? Then when you come back you can shop, they do not close to 10pm!
Hence you can relax on the bus, see Busch gardens and also shop all in one day. What more can a women ask for? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :ro tfl: The Busch Gardens Shuttle Express is a service providing round-trip transportation from Orlando to Busch Gardens at Tampa Bay. Mears Transportation Group shuttles visitors to Busch Gardens in its luxury motor coaches, which typically hold 47 passengers. The cost for round-trip transportation is only $5 per person; it's free for passengers who purchase the five-park Orlando FlexTicket or an Adventure Passport. Pick-ups are offered from five convenient Orlando locations: ⢠Universal Orlando -- 8:15 am, daily at bus parking; ⢠Mercado Shopping Village, International Drive -- 8:30 a.m. daily, front circle of main entrance; ⢠SeaWorld -- 9 a.m. daily at bus parking; ⢠Old Town Shopping Village S. Apopka-Vineland Road -- 9:15 a.m. daily, except Saturday, at rear parking, near roller coaster; ⢠Orlando Premium Outlets, Vineland Avenue -- 9:30 a.m. daily at tour bus drop-off center. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-221-1339.

Re: Directions to Busch Gardens
If you want to get there for park opening, a shuttle isn't always the best option. The shuttle also often leaves before the park closes.
