Car Rental on I Drive

Does anyone have experience of renting a car from an I Drive hotel rather than from the airport? I know some of the I Drive hotels have car rental offices, but not the one we are staying at. Will the car rental companies deliver a car to your hotel or do you have to go to one of their offices to pick it up?

Thanks.

Some car rental companies will come and pick you up at the hotel and bring you to the rental office where you complete the paperwork and drive off in the car.

I've not ever rented directly through an I-Drive hotel though, so can't help you there. Sorry!

Re: Car Rental on I Drive

Sheraton Studios Hotel on I-drive is listed as an Alamo rental point. We usually book our car via a third party, but we just got a great rate booking direct with Alamo UK.

Thanks for the advice, Paula. I looked at Alamo and they are about £30 cheaper for a week than the company I normally use.
