Tallahassee Airport
Could someone please tell me how far Tallahassee Airport is from Disney? We are flying into and out of Tallahasse because we are stopping to see relatives prior to our Disney adventure.

Re: Tallahassee Airport
Four and a half or so, depending upon traffic of course. It is a long and boring drive too.

Re: Tallahassee Airport
bout 4 hours. Depends on traffic too.
4 Hours to me doesn't seem like a lot because after spending 15 on the way down there, 4 is a teeny smidge! ![]() Have fun! (And avoid Orlando at 8 p.m. cause it gets BUSSSSSYYY, if you're driving through on the way...and it's late, you want to avoid that time)

Re: Tallahassee Airport
I am an old 'Nole (FSU Seminole), class of '75, and I used to make that drive regularly. I'd say it's 4 1/2 hours.
Tallahassee is a fine little city - I would not mind living there. It combines the best features of Florida and the Old South, and is rather progressive, not unlike Austin, Texas. It's the state capital of Florida, and worth a visit in itself. Both my father and grandfather served briefly in the State Legislature many years ago. FSU has an excellent School of Theatre. Faye Dunaway, Polly Holliday (Flo), Burt Reynolds, and Jim Morrison all had Tally connections. There are many fine state parks in the surrounding area, and the Gulf is just a short drive away. The 70's fad of "streaking" got its start at FSU. |
