Shows on 7 day western cruise?

I was checking out the Disney site and saw that they only list 3 shows on the 7 day western cruise where as the 7 day eastern cruise has a show every night.

Has anyone taken the 7 day western, and know if this is true?

Re: Shows on 7 day western cruise?

There are 5 shows on the Disney Magic 7-Night Western Cruise. This is the list from the Disney Cruise Line website.

Also, check-out my trip report from our 7-Night Western Cruise here and my photos here. There are more links on my signature.

Disney Magicยฎ

The Golden Mickeys
Get ready to feel like a celebrity as we roll out the red carpet for a spectacular new show celebrating the musical legacy of Walt Disney Studios. It's all the glitz and glamour of a Hollywood tribute, honoring the comedy, romance, heroes (and even villains) of your favorite Disney films.

Welcome Aboard Variety Show
This exciting show features singers, dancers and variety acts. It's a welcome aboard fanfare that invites Guests to sit back for a fun-filled week.

Hercules -- A Muse-ical Comedy
Relive all the magic of the Disney animated feature in a live stage show. It's a vaudevillian-style salute to the ancient strongman including great music from the Disney movie of the same name.

Disney Dreams
A bedtime story featuring Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Cinderella, Ariel and many other popular Disney characters, who together teach a young girl the power of her dreams.

Magical Farewell
This show wraps up all the magic of your Disney Cruise Lineยฎ vacation as performers celebrate the Guests' week of shipboard activities and island-hopping.

Re: Shows on 7 day western cruise?

Oh thanks SM. I guess I misinterperted the info @ the Disney site. I thought that the Magic did the eastern cruises while the wonder did the western cruises. So when I saw only 3 shows on the Wonder I jumped to the wrong conclusion. So now I am guessing that the Wonder does the 3 and 4 night land and sea trips. Is that right?

Yeap, the Disney Wonder does the 3 and 4 night cruises and are the first options for the Land and Sea packages.

The Disney Magic does the 7 night itineraties, one week the eastern and the next week the western .

Diz, if it's any help, Disney is rolling through an upgrade of the Disney Cruise Line site and trying to add more 'meat' to it. It's an imperfect science.

when are you going? I would so love to do the Western. Did you see the Costa May cruise with the two Castaway Cay days, too?? Yummy!
