Magical Express
DH and I will be going in May . I would like to check this service out , just to see what it's like and report back . I have some questions , Do you have to use a certain airline ? Is it only available at Orlando International or are they also doing it at Orlando/Sanford ? How does Disney know that once you book your airline ticket that you are using the Magical Express ? I hope I didn't ask too many ?'s at one time . This whole knew deal with Disney is so confusing ...

Re: Magical Express
From what I understand Tinker it is MCO only. Hopefully Cinderella or Mickeymac will be along soon since I am pretty sure they're well versed with how the program is going to work
Edit: Also remember that the program doesn't start til 5/5 Last edited by JuniorMickey; February 16th, 2005 at 04:33. |

Re: Magical Express
I know on the Disney site where I booked my trip, it gives you the option of using the service or not. It also lets you add your flight to the vacation package if you are not booking flights through Disney, all you do is contact them with all of your flight information so they know when and where to pick you up. I do not believe it matters what airline you use. I thought this was a nice change to not have to bother with the bags, I am just hoping the buses aren't packed and you aren't waiting long like my past few experiences with Mears.

You can read here that you need to book Magical Express at least 10 days in advance. But remember that if you live outside the UK, you need to keep in mind that the special labels will be send to your home, and that could take a while.

Re: Magical Express
As far as I can gather, you can use it with any airline on arrival but only certain ones on departure.
You would book it through Disney and they send you special luggage tags. It only operates through MCO, not Sanford. I'm eager to see what happens with this. It would save alot of struggling with luggage at least one way. |

Re: Magical Express
Thank You Mickeymac and everyone else that pitched in to help .
At least I posted it in the right place this time . I'm definitely going to give it a whirl and I'll report back to you after my trip in May . JM I'll be there from the 9th to the 18th , any chance you will be visiting during that time ? It's just me and DH.
