Hints and Tips

Some people have always found great ways to save money or come up with an unusual way of solving a simple problem while on holiday in WDW. These are suggestions that other people will always find useful. Why not email them into the show and we can include them in our Hints and Tips section of the show. Send your emails to the usual address: DisneyBrit@hotmail.com

Okay:

If you go lots but always off peak:

Become a member of the shareholders club and buy 1 annual passport dream and buy fantasy passports for the restof your party. That way you get the best hotel rates, as well as 20% discount in shops, 10% in all restaurants 15% in table service restaurants, free apertif and 10% in disney store europe.

Re: Hints and Tips

If you go to Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show:

Buy a drink in the bar and take your glass in with you. When your glass is filled at the table in the show, empty it into the glass you have brought in with you. Put your empty glass on the table.

When the cast member comes along to refill your drink hide the full glass undr the table and he/she will fill your original empty glass.

That way you will double up on your "unlimited" drink quota.

If you get unlimited drinks, why would you need to double up?

Re: Hints and Tips

because it is not really unlimited, hence quotation marks!!!

The server only comes round three times during the meal, once before the first course, then almost immediately afterwards and then during the main course.

Re: Hints and Tips

If you need to get away from the crowds in Walt Disney Studios the best place is Cafe De Cascadeurs. Fab theming and really good value food. Sit outside and have beer and a burger, the restaurant is never busy and you can escape the crush of crush's coaster.

1. Many of the holiday companies offer price matching on theme park tickets. Take advantage of this by checking for offers from other ticket companies and you may not have to pay for your tickets until your holiday balance is due. This saved our family £168 on Virgin holiday ticket prices

2. If you want a break from Disney and are visiting Universal, book a night at a universal hotel (211$ +tax in July 09 with AA discount) and all of your party get front of line passes for 2 days. This is cheaper than buying 2 days express passes (for family of 5) and you can use the passes as much as you like. For extra discount join the AA and book the AAA rate (this saved us 15%). You can also enjoy a night out at Citiwalk without needing to drive.

3. AA membership can cost as little as £30 and gets at least 10% discount (USA AAA discount) in many resturants and shops (e.g. 20% at reebok outlet).
